Eight Palestinians were killed by Israeli occupation forces near the U.S.-backed aid distribution center west of Rafah city in southern Gaza.
Eyewitnesses reported that Israeli soldiers opened fire on civilians as they waited to receive aid in the designated "Al-Alam area" in Rafah governorate, resulting in the death of eight people and injuring dozens more.
Israeli forces have killed more than 100 Palestinians at U.S.-supported aid distribution sites since operations began late last month.
