Israeli occupation forces seized the "Maddeline" ship, which was heading to the Gaza Strip to break the siege and deliver humanitarian aid, and arrested the activists onboard.
The Freedom Flotilla Coalition reported that Israeli forces boarded the ship, detained the solidarity volunteers, and cut off communication with it.
UN Special Rapporteur on Human Rights in Palestine, Francesca Albanese, stated that the ship posed no threat to Israel’s security, and that Israel has no legal authority to stop it in international waters.
A week ago, the "Maddeline" ship, part of the Freedom Flotilla Coalition, departed from the port of Catania, Italy, aiming to break the Israeli blockade on Gaza, carrying 12 activists from various Western countries.
