The Palestinian Red Crescent Society stated that it is facing great difficulty in communicating with its teams in the Gaza Strip due to a complete blackout of internet and landline communication services, following the direct targeting of communication lines by the occupation forces.

The Palestinian Telecommunications Regulatory Authority announced that the increasing digital isolation is a result of the systematic targeting of infrastructure by the occupation. This comes despite repeated efforts to repair the severed and alternative routes. The authority confirmed that the Israeli occupation continues to prevent technical crews from repairing the damaged cables.
