The Government Media Office announced that the total number of trucks that entered the Gaza Strip over the past thirty days amounted to only 2,654, out of an expected 18,000—less than 15% of the actual needs of the civilian population, which numbers around 2.4 million people.

It pointed out that in the past five days, only 467 trucks entered out of the 3,000 expected, with a large portion of them looted and stolen. The office noted that the Strip’s daily need exceeds 600 trucks of various types of aid to meet the minimum requirements of the population, amid the near-total collapse of infrastructure caused by the ongoing war and genocide.
