Dr. Munir Al-Bursh, Director-General of the Ministry of Health in Gaza, confirmed that entire families remain trapped under the rubble in the Jabalia neighborhoods of northern Gaza due to the occupation’s use of massive, booby-trapped robots to destroy homes and neighborhoods.
He stated that Israel deploys between 7 and 10 explosive robots daily in Gaza City, each capable of carrying around 7 tons of explosives.
Al-Bursh also highlighted the immense pressure on Gaza’s hospitals, where medical staff are forced to place six children on a single bed due to severe shortages in beds and equipment. The widespread destruction of health infrastructure includes the targeting of over 150 medicine warehouses, which has led to the deaths of 1,000 heart patients due to a lack of proper treatment.
He added that the number of injured children since the start of the aggression has surpassed 40,000, affirming the ministry’s commitment to keeping hospitals open and not abandoning patients.
