The Government Media Office in Gaza reported that the Israeli occupation has killed 1,100 martyrs and detonated over 100 booby-trapped robots in residential neighborhoods since the beginning of its assault on Gaza City three weeks ago.
In a statement, the office noted that the occupation launched a new ground military operation inside Gaza City on August 13, forcing residents of the city and the north into forced displacement, while carrying out more than 70 direct airstrikes with warplanes.
It explained that during this period, these crimes resulted in the martyrdom of 1,100 people and the injury of 6,008 others—an average of more than 52 martyrs and 285 wounded per day—coinciding with the total collapse of the health system.
The office called on the international community and all human rights and legal institutions around the world to take serious, urgent, and binding measures to stop this genocide against civilians.
