Prisoner advocacy organizations confirmed that the total number of prisoners and detainees in Israeli occupation prisons has risen to more than 11,000, the majority of them administrative detainees and individuals held on remand.

The organizations reported that among the detainees are 49 female prisoners, including two from Gaza, and more than 400 children. The number of administrative detainees has reached 3,577, marking the highest proportion compared to the numbers of prisoners held on remand, sentenced prisoners, and those classified as “unlawful combatants.”
