Yisrael newspaper revealed in a report on the Monitor website the existence of a secret communication channel between the Israeli occupation and Turkey in order to improve the relations between the two. The report says Hakan Fidan, Head of Turkey's National Intelligence Organization, has had at least one talk with Israeli officials according to 3 sources that spoke to the website but preferred to be left anonymous. The report also mentions that Ankara is concerned over elected President Joe Biden’s position on Erdoğan’s administration and imposing sanctions on it. Therefore, having good relations with the occupation will give them credit in the eyes of the new administration. The talks address the possibility of improving the relations especially after Turkey had expelled the Israeli ambassador from Ankara in May, 2018.
