The UN Security Council has approved the amended U.S. draft resolution No. 2803, which supports President Donald Trump’s 20-point plan to end the war in Gaza.

Thirteen members of the Security Council voted in favor of the text, which U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Mike Waltz described as “historic and constructive.”

The office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the plan insists on disarming the Gaza Strip, considering it a “basis for achieving stability in the next phase.”
