The Israeli occupation forces arrested two youngsters, one was wounded, from Qabatiya town to the south of Jenin in the occupied West Bank after breaking into their homes, and shot a third in the leg in the confrontations there.
Violent confrontations erupted in Issawiya in occupied Al-Quds, during which the occupation’s forces fired teargas heavily and randomly at the citizens causing them to suffocate.
The Palestinians’ properties were also damaged. Eyewitnesses said that the forces stationed their vehicles in front of the buildings and at the crossroads, and set checkpoints that resulted in confrontations.
In Salwan town in the occupied Al-Quds, Abdel-Karim Abu Sneina, member in the Salwan Defense Committee, along with other activists from the city called for strikes against the settlement plans and attempts to grab citizens’ lands.
Abu Sneina warned the people against not participating in the strikes, because it would be an excuse for the settlers to take over the Palestinians’ lands and homes.
He also said that the occupation is currently working on the establishment of a settlement neighborhood for the French Jews in the upper side of Wadi Al-Rababa, and it already prepared the infrastructure for the construction.
Abu Sneina warned against the possible future step of turning it into a settlement, similar to what happened with 11 other settlements in the occupied lands of 1967.
The occupation at the time confiscated the lands under the pretext of nature conservation and established Giv'at Ze'ev, Gilo, Ma'ale Adumim, and Har Homa settlements.
The occupation’s bulldozers have been sweeping the lands in Wadi Al-Rababa neighborhood for days.
