Eli Cohen, the occupation’s Minister of Intelligence, told the Israeli i24news channel that his government is making contact with 6 to 7 countries in Africa, the Gulf, and east Asia to conclude normalization agreements (like the ones with the UAE, Bahrain, Sudan and Morocco).
Cohen said that these countries understand that the entity is their partner in achieving regional stability and a powerful security ally with unprecedented economic potentials.
Cohen anticipated that the trade agreement between ‘Israel’ and the UAE and Bahrain would reach $5 billion the coming few years (and that is beside the investment and tourism sectors).
Regarding the region’s fears, including the occupation’s, of the new American Administration, Cohen stressed how America has always been their friend and ally.
However, his message to the elected President Joe Biden was strong. He said that Obama’s Administration, in which Biden served as Vice President, did not make any regional political accomplishments unlike Trump’s four years in office.
He said that the latter was firmer with Iran, and such political policy should continue in order to achieve regional stability.
