Confrontations erupted in different areas of the occupied West Bank that led to the injury and suffocation of several citizens.
In Beit Dajan in Nablus, tens of Palestinians suffocated with poisonous gas that was fired by the occupation’s forces. The latter oppressed the anti-settlement weekly protest that is organized by the popular committee of the town, the factions’ coordination committee and the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission.
Confrontations also erupted between the occupation’s forces and the people of Deir Jarir village in east Ramallah. The citizens organized an event against the settlement project in Al-Shurfa region which is under the threat of being turned into a settlement.
The Palestinians marched to the lands and were stopped by the soldiers who fired metal bullets and teargas at them. The youth responded with stones.
Several citizens, including an elderly and a paramedic, were wounded and suffocated after the occupation’s forces had oppressed a peaceful protest in Masafer Yatta in south Hebron, and another one in Kafr Qaddum.
Several foreign and peace activists participated in the Kafr Qaddum protest. The protestors lift slogans against the occupation and its crimes; the most recent of which was shooting Haron Abu Arem, 24, from a short distance causing him paralysis in his four limbs.
In Al-Mughayyir village in the north-east of Ramallah, the occupation’s forces shot 6 citizens and caused tens others to suffocate with gas. The confrontations erupted in a protest against the establishment of a settlement outpost inside a military camp that belongs to the occupation. The confrontations are still going.
