People of Burqa Stand up to Settlers

Ghassan Daghlas, an official who monitors settlement activities in the northern West Bank, said that the people of Burqa in north Nablus stood up to an attack carried out by a group of settlers near Al-Qusour Mountain and chased them down until the entrances of the evacuated Homesh settlement.

Daghlas also said that the settlers spread along the roads between Qalqilya-Nablus and Ramallah-Nablus and stoned a number of Palestinians’ vehicles.

In addition, the forces set a military checkpoint at Jenin-Nablus road, another near Jit village in east Qalqilya, and at third near Al-Tanib Factory at Tulkarm road. The forces closed down Huwara military checkpoint in south Nablus.
