In a statement, France condemned the occupation’s announcement of the construction of more than 800 residential units in the settlements of the West Bank.

It urged the occupation not to move forward with the decision, and the Palestinians and the Israelis not to take any action that would prevent the two-state solution as agreed on by the International Law and other approved criteria.
