The Department of Islamic Endowments in Al-Aqsa said that 69 settlers broke into Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa from Bab Al-Mughrabi and organized provocative tours in its yards under heavy police protection.

It added that Jewish guides had introduced information about the alleged temple during the invasion while some settlers performed Talmudic rituals in Bab Al-Rahma area.

The occupation police impose severe restrictions on the access of Muslims to the masjid, check their IDs, and detain some at the outside gates.

On a daily basis, except for Fridays and Saturdays, settlers break into and violate the Masjid in the morning and at night.
