Shadi Othman, spokesperson for the EU in Al-Quds, said that the representative of the Union, Sven Kuhn von Burgsdorf, will arrive in the Gaza Strip from Erez Crossing today.

He added that Burgsdorf and the Consul General of Spain will attend the signing of the agreement on a project to support the resilience and economic growth of the agricultural sector in the Strip. The project’s budget is €4 million, and will be implemented by a group of non-governmental organizations for small-scale agricultural projects.

Othman noted that the representative of the Union will hold a meeting with the director of Central Elections Commission office in Gaza.
