The Department of Islamic Endowments in Al-Aqsa stated that 228 settlers invaded Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa from Mughrabi Gate under heavy police protection, carried out provocative tours in its yards and were lectured on the alleged Haykal.

Since Al-Quds occupation in1967, the Israeli occupation has kept the keys of Mughrabi Gate from which settlers enter to carry out daily break-ins.
