Palestinians Injured in Confrontations in Al-Quds, WB, GS

The Israeli occupation soldiers assaulted hundreds of Palestinians in Al-Quds, the West Bank and the Gaza Strip. Tens were injured and others were arrested.

In Al-Quds, the confrontations erupted after the occupation's forces assaulted the Jerusalemites in Al-Amud Gate arenas, and prevented vehicles from movement. The soldiers chased down the youth who were celebrating the removal of the checkpoints from the area, and arrested 3 Jerusalemites after beating them near Huta Gate. The worshippers who were coming for iftar were also prevented from entering Al-Masjid.

Some young men in Al-Quds thwarted a settler's attempt to kidnap 12-year-old Laith Eliyan from Al-Issawiya.

In Hebron, the soldiers fired teargas at tens of citizens resulting in their suffocation. They also fired metal bullets, sound bombs and teargas at Bab Al-Zawiya Gate.

In the Gaza Strip, the forces arrested two youngsters who approached the fence-line in east Khan Yunus, and fired bullets and sound bombs at others near Nahal Oz military site in east Gaza.

Dozens demonstrated in Al-Bureij Camp against the continuous assaults in the occupied Al-Quds.

Palestinian activists resumed firing burning balloons at the settlements surrounding Gaza in a protest against the incidents taking place in Al-Quds according to Yedioth Ahronoth.
