The Israeli public radio said that the occupation's Foreign Minister Gabi Ashkenazi will arrive in Egypt and meet with his Egyptian counterpart to discuss the ceasefire and arrangements for the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip.

Hussein Al-Sheikh, member in Fatah's Central Committee, said that Abbas Kamel, Director of the Egyptian General Intelligence Directorate, will arrive in Palestine to discuss with the Palestinian leadership the recent developments after the aggression, the reconstruction issue, the Palestinian national dialogue, and Israeli attacks on Al-Quds.

Walla website said that Kamel will be meeting with PM Netanyahu and Meir Ben-Shabbat, Chief of Staff of National Security, and other high-profile officials to discuss ceasefire progress. It also reported that the Egyptians were interested in opening the captured soldiers case.
