Cinta Gaza Malaysia CEO: We Allocated $100,000 for Scientific Research on Palestine

Mr. Nadir Al-Nuri Qamar Al-Zaman, CEO of Cinta Gaza Malaysia, announced the allocation of a $100,000 grant for scientific research on the Palestinian cause, with the focus on projects against normalization.

 The announcement was made during the declaration of the results of the international research contest 'No to Normalization' in Gaza which was organized by the General Authority for Youth and Culture in cooperation with PALM Strategic Initiative Centre, Al-Zaytouna Centre for Studies and Consultations in Beirut, and Messiri Academy.

Mr. Qamar Al-Zaman said that the researches would be translated and printed in English and Malay so that they would be published in Southeast Asia and other countries around the world.  

Regarding the reconstruction of Gaza, the CEO said that Cinta Gaza Malaysia and the two Malaysian coalitions My Aqsa Defenders and Aid4Palestine were happy to announce the $2 million  intervention to rebuild what the aggression had destroyed.

The Organizing Committee of the 'No to Normalization' Contest said that the contest had received great attention at Palestinian and Arab levels. It also noted that the total cost of the contest was about $10,000, and  that it will be holding an international conference on normalization in which all contest researches will participate, and it will be working on having the researches published in peer-reviewed journals.  

The winner of the first prize was the Algerian researcher Bouneb Kamal, who won $2000; the second prize was awarded to the Palestinian researchers Elham Shamali and Juwan Saleh, who won $1500 each; and the third prize was awared to Lapid Emad bin Mohammed, who won $1000.
