Haaretz newspaper reported that the occupation has started looking into new measures to reduce the economic crisis from which the PA suffers. The USA has been exercising pressure in this direction for its concerns over the PA's collapse.

One of the measures is the possibility of reducing the PA's financial liabilities.

The Cabinet had approved cutting 597M shekels of 2020 clearing money transferred to the PA.
