The CDA reported that 16 prisoners are in the Israeli occupation jails and continue their hunger strike against administrative detention.

The oldest prisoner is Salem Zeidat, 40, and has been on the strike for 20 days. The other prisoners on the strike are Mohammed E'mar and Mujahed Hamed (for 18 days); Mahmoud and Kayed Al-Fasfus, and Rafat Al-Darawish, Jafara Al-Namoura (for 17 days); Maher Dalaysha (for 12 days); Alaa Al-Dein Ali, Fadi Al-Amour, Hussam Rib'i, Mohammed Khaled Abu Sal, Ahmed Abu Sal and Ahmed Nizal (for 11 days); Miqdad Al-Qawasma (for 10 days); and Mohammed Nuwara who has started the strike protesting against being confined in solitary.

The CDA warned against the deterioration in the health condition of the prisoners. The prisoners suffer from pain in their joints, fatigue and weight loss. They also suffer from psychological pressure because of the continuous transportation and daily searches. The CDA stressed the importance of exercising legal pressure by international and human rights organizations on the occupation to close the administrative detention file which violates international laws.
