Yedioth Ahronoth reported Palestinian sources' statement on the occupation's government's approval of the construction of 1000 homes for Palestinians in Area C in the occupied West Bank.
The source described this step as 'exceptional' and considered it "an unusual and dramatic Israeli move that had not happened since years".
The approval was made at the same time of the visits of Richard Moore, UK's Chief of the Secret Intelligence Service, and William Burns, CIA Director.
Palestinian and international, official and human rights reports confirm that the Israeli occupation imposes restrictions on the Palestinians' construction of lands in Area C, i.e. 60% of the occupied West Bank and is under the occupation's sovereignty according to Oslo Accords.
