The Ministry of Endowments in Al-Quds stated that the soldiers assaulted the Muslims in Al-Masjid Al-Ibrahimi in Hebron after performing Friday prayer causing tens to suffocate.

Jamal Abu Aram, Director of Endowments, said that the forces fired teargas at the Muslims and closed down several entrances forcing many to leave its arenas.

The Ministry had urged the Palestinians to pray at the Masjid in response to the occupation's violations and settlement scheme against the Masjid and its surrounding areas.

The occupation had deployed hundreds of soldiers to surround the Masjid and close down the roads to restrict the citizens who came for prayer.
