The occupation’s Kan channel reported estimates of finalizing an agreement on the Qatari grant transfer to Gaza in the coming few days. Although not completely finalized, such agreement would reduce the level of tension in the Strip.

 A high-profile diplomatic source told Sawa news agency that Qatar and the UN had agreed on distributing the Qatari grant to the needy families in the Gaza Strip.

The occupation refuses to allow the entry of the grant in a bag, as it has been done since September 2018, through Beit Hanoun crossing, and insists on finding a new mechanism whether through the PA or the UN. It claims it wants guarantees that the grant would not be delivered to the resistance in Gaza.
