IOC Looks into Gaza’s Case Against Israeli occupation

The International Criminal Court in the Hague will hold a hearing session for a lawsuit filed by the Palestinian citizen Ismail Ziadeh, against the Israeli occupation for committing a war crime during their aggression on the strip in 2014.

He filed a lawsuit to prosecute Beeny Gantz, occupations minister of defense, and Amir Eshel, geneal director of the occupation’s ministry of defense, as they rocked and destroyed his house in 2019. He appealed against the court’s first decision on immunity from prosecuting to be made in favor of the Israeli defendants, noting that such immunity should not be given to war criminals.
He said that he seeks to prosecute the criminals who gave orders to deliberately destroy his building in Al-Bureij camp in Gaza on July 20, 2014. The attack resulted in the martyrdom of his father Ismail Ziadeh, three of his siblings, his wife’s brother, his nephew, and one their guests.
