Munther Abo Ahmed, the attorney of Detainees and Ex-detainees Affairs Commission, said that the prisoner Ayham Kamamji was subjected to two attempts of assassination during his way to Jenin after he broke free from Gilboa prison.
Quoting from Kamamji, he said that the Israeli occupation forces fired guns at him twice, The first was on the day he broke free from Gilba when he was hiding among the grass in Al-Afoula city, and the second time was in Saelm area. Later on, he spent 11 days in Jenin.
The attorney confirmed that Kamamji and his fired Munadel Nufay’at were subjected to severe beatings when they were re-arrested. He also said that the occupation sent him a bandager, not a doctor, after being brutally attacked. He did not receive any medicine despite the pains he was suffering from in the chest, the neck and shoulders.
Kamamji described to his attorney that the moment they were re-arrested was quite hard; he was re-arrested 15 minutes after moving to a new house to hide in. He also said that he could not achieve his dream of visiting his father’s tomb.
