Naji Sarhan, deputy of the Ministry of Public Works and Housing, said that the rebuilding of Gaza's constructions destroyed in May will start next October. 

He noted that the Qatari committee to rebuild Gaza will grant money for the homeowners of damaged buildings. 

He also noted that a thousand residential buildings were destroyed and 800 others were partially damaged. 

He said that the second phase of the Qatari grant will start soon. It includes the reconstruction of damaged infrastructure and compensation for both economic and agricultural sectors, with no time specified so far. 

Sarhan mentioned that the first phase of the Egyptian grant started by rehabilitating Al-Rasheed street in the north of Gaza after Egyptian engineers had arrived at Gaza to supervise the implementation.
