80 Palestinian Prisoners on Hunger Strike in Negev Prison

Sep 24, 2021 09:58 am

The Palestinian Prisoner's Club said that 80 Palestinian prisoners that belong to the Islamic Jihad Movement in the Negev prison are on an open hunger strike in protest of the Israeli occupation's arbitrary measures practiced against them.

The club said the hunger strike is one step of the prisoners’ series of protests.

It also noted the prisoners are afraid of the occupation prisons' administration's brutal policies.

Since the escape of the six prisoners from Gilboa, the Israeli occupation has been practicing arbitrary measures against the prisoners, especially those who belong to Islamic Jihad.
