Tuesday, dozens of Gazan youth participated in a digital campaign on twitter, using the hashtag #InternationalWomenDay # يوم_المرأة_العالميto highlight the suffering of the Palestinian women under the Israeli

occupation.
The campaign was organized by the PALM Strategic Initiatives Center Palestine Malaysia with the participation of the Ministry of Women's Affairs, We Are Not Numbers institute, and Women for Palestine. Hundreds of Twitters from Indonesia, Germany and Malaysia joined the campaign in solidarity with the Palestinian women.
The campaign, which coincided with International Women's Day and was carried out at the headquarters of the Malaysian Incubator in Gaza, witnessed a high acceptance and wide interaction from the tweeters. There was a varied information on the lives, achievements, resistance and daily suffering of Palestinian women as a result of

the Israeli occupation. Also, several tweets addressed the symbols of struggling Palestinian women. 
The tweets and designs were published in Arabic and English, with the aim of reaching the widest sectors globally to publicize the identity of the Palestinian women and their bitter reality, and expose the violations of the Israeli occupation against women and the rights of the Palestinian people, forming of expanded global support fronts for Palestinian rights.
