This is How Hamas Gets Ready for the Next Confrontation

A year after the Fence Guard campaign (Al-Quds Sword Battle), Hamas and the Islamic Jihad significantly doubled the tunnels that approached the separation wall with Israel. There are talks about tunnels whose objective is offensive, and escape hatches that exist in the Gazan side a short distance from the separation fence with Israel.
Following the construction of the underground wall on the border with the Gaza Strip, Hamas and the Islamic Jihad have changed their tactics, and those tunnels have become intended to remove a large force of militants who would enter the occupied territories.

In the missile area, Hamas and the Islamic Jihad succeeded in producing, since the end of the campaign, about 1,000 new missiles, in addition to the stock at their disposal. The pace of production is not high in comparison with the time that has elapsed since the end of the campaign. This is due to attacks carried out by Israel since the end of the campaign against rocket production sites in the Gaza Strip.

Another area emphasized by Hamas' military arm is unmanned aircraft. When the Fence Guard's campaign began, this project was still not mature, so Hamas failed in all its attempts to launch drones into Israel's territory.

This year, Hamas successfully activated its smuggling system, which is carried out by naval means on Gaza's border with Egypt - from Egypt and from the Karam Salem crossing - under cover of civilian goods. With these smuggles, Hamas is attempting to install larger and more powerful engines for its naval commando boats, build explosive boats that are supposed to collide with Navy seaports and smuggle sea bikes in order to allow rapid movement of its naval commando men for incursions from the sea.

During the military campaigns, Hamas gathers information on the operation of Israeli systems and studies them. Hamas also shares this information with Iran on the Iron Dome system's capabilities.
