The Presidential Committee for the Coordination of Goods in the Gaza Strip, announced the continued closure of Karem Abu Salim al-Tajiri crossing border by the Israeli occupation, and the partial closure of the Beit Hanoun crossing border to pedestrians and workers for the second day. Occupation army also continues the high alertness status along the Gaza Strip border and the "Gaza envelope" settlements, fearing any attacks by the Islamic Jihad movement after the arrest of Commander Bassam Al-Saadi in Jenin, occupied West Bank.
Israeli Channel 12 reported that the occupation had sent a strongly worded message to Hamas and Jihad movements, by the Egyptian mediator saying: "It is not concerned with escalation, but the response will be harsh to any act or violation of Israeli sovereignty."
