Prisoner Khalil Awawda Faces Death Under His Hunger Strike

Prisoner Khalil Awawda continues his hunger strike for the 114th day, refusing his administrative detention in the Israeli occupation prisons, despite his dangerous health status.

The occupation prisons administration deliberately transfers Awawda repeatedly to civilian hospitals, claiming that medical examinations are necessary to conduct for him. However, every time he returns without conducting any of them, on the pretext that he is not in danger yet.

Administrative detainees are often subjected to the renewal of their detention more than once, for a period of three, six or eight months, and sometimes it may reach a full year, and in some cases it reaches seven years.
