The Minister of the Israeli Occupation Army issued an order to summon 25,000 reservists to reinforce its presence in the south, with the start of a new Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.

Military sources stated that the soldiers would join the air defense units in addition to administrative tasks and protecting the settlements near the Gaza Strip. The Minister of Security also issued a decision to recruit 10 reserve battalions from the Border Guard forces in anticipation of confrontations breaking out inside the occupied Palestinian territories.
