What Would Prevent Israel from Taking Serious Stance on Abbas?

The German chancellor, Ulf Shultz, took enough time to really feel secure after the declarations of the Palestinian president, Mahmud Abbas (Abu Mazen), at a conference where they were both gathered in the German capital, Berlin, in which he stated that "Israel has committed 50 crimes against the Palestinians."

Shultz did not get bothered by these declarations, until he was attacked by the German newspaper "Beeld". Also, German police stated that they are studying the possibility of opening an investigation against Abu Mazen as a result of a complaint handed to them. Yet, we know that such an investigation would not bring any results.

The most crucial question here is that: why doesn’t so-called Israel rush to cut the relations with Abu Mazen after his red flag words, although he apologized for his words? The good stance Abu Mazen enjoys by the Israeli Entity's Security Service construes the importance of the security cooperation with the Palestinian authority. And if this cooperation was ever affected, this would harm the life of many Israeli settlers.

Minister of Finance, Avigdor Lieberman, wrote on his twitter account: "No need to be affected by Abu Mazen's speeches to cease the security coordination, as he knows that this security coordination is as important as it is to Israel. And if he remained alive till this day without being assassinated by competitive terrorist organizations, this can be only referred to the Palestinian Security Forces and the Israeli occupation Security Forces.

The public announcement of such issues by Lieberman, the former Minister of Defense, indicates his realization of what is going to happen. Thus, it is important to listen to Lieberman.
