The General Union of Youth Commission opened a mural in Gaza, on the occasion of the Malaysian National Day, with the presence of Muhammed Nadir Al-Nuri Kamaruzaman; CEO of CGM, Dr. Ibrahim Alzaeem; Head of PALM Strategic Initiatives Centre, and Shadi Salem; Director of Malaysian Cultural Centre.
Rami Hussain, Head of General Union of Youth Commissions, in his speech, congratulated the Malaysian people on their Independence Day.
Hussain confirmed the strong relations between the Palestinian and Malaysian people and appreciated Malaysia's ongoing support for the Palestinian cause. He wished them more progress and prosperity, and hopes Palestine enjoys freedom and independence as Malaysia.
Nadir Al-Nuri, in turn, thanked the General Authority for Youth Commission for this unique initiative that reflects the deep relations between Malaysian and Palestine.
The mural was made by Palestinian artists. They painted two men rising the Palestinian and Malaysian flags and looking at Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa. This indicates the correlations between the two nations.
The ceremony also included scout show and rising of the Palestinian and Malaysian flags.
