The Israeli occupation authorities decided to impose a security cordon on the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, starting from Sunday until Tuesday, on the occasion of the so-called “Sukkot Holiday.”

Hebrew media sources indicated that the Israeli occupation forces raised the state of preparedness in the West Bank in anticipation of the break out of violent confrontations with Palestinian youths.

It is noteworthy that the closure of the West Bank during Jewish Holidays affects dozens of thousands of Palestinian workers, prevents them from reaching their workplaces, and prevents citizens from the Gaza Strip from going to the Palestinian-occupied territories to receive treatment in the hospitals.
