The Malaysian police confirmed the continuation of the investigation into a cell affiliated with the Israeli occupation Mossad that kidnapped a Palestinian expert in the field of information technology, and the Malaysian police managed to free him.

Non-governmental organizations and parties called on the Malaysian government to reveal all the circumstances and take strict measures regarding the activities of the Mossad.

Local media sources revealed that the security services had dismantled a Mossad spy network, and newspapers quoted officials as saying that Mossad had recruited a cell from at least 11 Malaysians in order to track down Palestinian activists.

Primary investigations revealed the involvement of a Mossad cell in spying on important sites in the country, including airports, as well as penetrating government electronic companies, and did not rule out the existence of other active cells of the Israeli intelligence.
