Dozens of settlers stormed the courtyards of the Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa with heavy protection from Israeli occupation forces.
According to local sources, dozens of settlers stormed Al-Aqsa in the form of successive groups from Bab Al-Maghreb, walked through its courtyards provocatively and performed Talmudic rites. The occupation police continued to restrict the entry of worshippers into the mosque, checked their identities and detained some at its gates.
Yesterday, the occupation announced a record number of settlers storming Al-Aqsa courtyards on election day for the Knesset, reaching 378 settlers, 2.5 times the number of those raided the masjid in previous elections.
