Settlers stormed Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa from the Moroccan Gate under severe protection from the Israeli occupation police on the fifth day of the so-called “Hanukkah” or “Lights” festival.

Awqaf in Al-Quds stated that dozens of settlers stormed al Masjid and performed provocative rounds in its yards this morning. They also had received explanations about the so-called Al-Hekal. Also, they performed Talmudic rituals and provocative dances near its gates.

It stated that the occupation forces continued to restrict the entry of Palestinian worshippers to Al-Aqsa, and detained their personal identities at its external gates and denied entry to some of them.
