To Herzog and Zamir, You should Learn from German!

Whenever there is a government change, the new ministers take the time to replace any general managers that the previous ministers left behind. It is only normal to replace general managers when the ministers are replaced. However, the Israeli Ambassador to Washington, Michael Herzog and the Consul General in New York, Asaf Zamir, are not willing to let go with their positions and, thus, continue to represent this government of terror.

Observers of the Israeli “media”, which was led by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the past few years, are well aware of the made-up narrative that they sell to the democratic world to spread the delusion that Israel is not only democratic, but also liberal. Behind the scenes, however, many admit the difficulty to represent and justify Israel to the liberal world. Many even believe that this will soon be impossible.

Former Israeli Ambassador to France, Yael German, who was appointed by Yair Lapid, resigned her position once the new coalition government was formed. She declared that the new government’s policy was against her principles.

Nothing much can be expected from Ron Prosor, the Ambassador to Germany; Gilad Erdan, the Ambassador to the United Nations; or Tzipi Hotovely, the Ambassador to Britain. However, why are Herzog and Zamir still in their positions? The former had to face a complicated family situation, when he had to relocate his family, while the latter keeps telling himself that he is valuable to the position. Meanwhile, the only one suitable for the position is Ron Dermer, although he was overthrown. There are times where the greatest contribution to make is to step down and not make one.
