The Knesset of the Israeli occupation on first reading decided to revoke citizenship or residence from the prisoners of Al-Quds and the occupied Palestinian interior (1948), in case they were found receiving any money from the Palestinian Authority.

According to an Israeli newspaper “Israel Today’’, the law would allow the deportation of any of those released prisoners to occupied West Bank areas.

The draft law clearly targets the ex-prisoners Karim and Maher Younis of the 1948 occupied territories, who were released after serving 40 years in detention. Also, the occupation forces began to restrict them and confiscate money and a vehicle belonging to their relatives, amid threats against them.
