Israeli occupation Finance Minister Bezlael Smotrić signed an order implementing the deduction of 300 million shekels from Palestinian tax revenues.

Channel 7 stated that the deduction of this amount was in compliance with the decision of the Israeli Central Court to require the Palestinian Authority to pay compensation to the families of those killed in the hostilities, as well as the deduction of NIS 100 million as a double deduction for the prisoners' and martyrs' salaries.
