The head of Al-Quds department of the Liberation Organization, Adnan Husseini, warned of a possible escalation at the holy of Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa during the upcoming month of Ramadan, amid provocations and daily incursions by settlers.

This came during his meeting with the General Consul of the Kingdom of Sweden, Julius Lilliastrom, who briefed him on the latest political developments and on Israel's continuing violations of the Palestinian people rights, land and sanctities and their targeting of Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa, which heralded a serious religious conflict.

He called on the Kingdom of Sweden to take its role and pressure to implement the resolutions of international legitimacy on the issue of Palestine and to achieve a just and comprehensive peace on the basis of the two-State solution.
