Israel's head of occupation, Benjamin Netanyahu, will meet opposition leader Yair Lapid during the next week, Walla said.

According to the website, Netanyahu's meeting with Lapid aims to update him on the security situation, noting that this is the first time they have met since the formation of the new government.

The same issues would be on the table for discussion, namely Iran, Gaza, the collapse of the Palestinian Authority, the escalating tension in the occupied West Bank, Ukraine and Russia.
