Israeli officials launched an attack on Israel's National Security Minister, Itmar Ben Gvir, over his statements regarding the launch of Operation Protective Wall 2 in occupied Al-Quds.

According to Israeli media, an Israeli official attacked Ben Gvir and his statements, saying that "Decisions on the launch of Operation Protective Fence are not taken on a berth at a bus stop.” He described these statements as "nonsense", stressing that Ben Gvir had not coordinated with the head of the occupation Government before the statements. Israeli opposition leader, Yair Lapid, confirmed that Ben Gvir had given instructions on the operation, noting that “if it's not dangerous, it's ridiculous."
