Bezalel Smotrich, the Israeli finance minister and leader of the Religious Zionist Movement, promised that thousands of settlement units will be built in the occupied West bank in the upcoming days.

Smotrich's statement followed the Cabinet's decision to legalize and annex nine outposts in the West Bank.

"We adopted a decision regarding settlement that we had never made before; we vowed to see it through to the bitter finish. 10,000 apartments on the occupied West Bank will soon receive approval from the Supreme Council for Planning,” Smotrich stated.
