Both the European Union and the USA criticized the Israeli resolution to legalize outposts in the West Bank, and considered this as a way that could escalate the tension between the two countries. 

Antony Blinken, the United States Secretary of State, said “the USA highly opposes this step, and assured that the one-sided procedures can lead to increasing the tension and preclude the two-state solution’s negotiations.”

The European Union as well rejected the Israeli court resolution about legalizing the outposts, assuring that settlement is “illegal”. It also called for stopping the establishment of settlements and for overturning the recent resolutions, and expressed its concern towards the escalated tensions and the increased violations.
