The UN Security Council condemned legalizing 9 outposts in the occupied West Bank, considering them an obstacle to the peace process.

The 15-member council's presidency declared in a speech that "the ongoing Israeli settlement activity in the West Bank would endanger the two-state solution.”

Moreover, the council declared its opposition to any one-sided procedures that disturb the peace process. Among these procedures are creating outposts, governing Palestinian territories, legalizing settlements, demolishing Palestinian homes, and expelling Palestinians.
