The National Emergency Committee of the Palestinian Prisoner Movement reported that the Palestinian prisoners will start their open-ended hunger strike by the start of Ramadan. It will be the widest in terms of the number and the participating factions. 

The committee pointed out that the prisoners had entered their 17th day of their movement rejecting the brutal measures imposed by Minister of National Security Itmar Ben Gvir against them. It also stressed that it will continue its protest until gaining victory. It, furthermore, renewed its call for the Palestinian that this Friday and every Friday shall be a day of support to the Palestinian prisoners in their struggle against the occupation’s violations.
